One aspect of our services includes assisting building owners during insurance claims on their properties after a hail storm or other severe weather event. We offer comprehensive services in this arena free of charge until claim is settled. Prior to a loss we can monitor our client’s properties for hail events. In the event of a storm, we contact clients to notify them of possible damage to their properties and inspect for hail/storm damage. If evidence of damage is found, we will walk through the entire insurance claim process with insurance companies to make sure the entirety of damage is covered appropriately and with minimum stress for you. We can also perform temporary repairs as needed to keep your property dry until the roof replacement can be completed. After the claim is settled, we will perform any desired/required work and then file to recover depreciation and any added cost due to damage revealed during work and price changes in market between acceptance of claim and installation dates. We look at everything from the roof, underlayment, soft metals, stucco and skylights. There are many times the damage is not visible to the bare eye the first year after the storm, so adjusters say no damage, but roof membranes can be damaged on the back side and over the years the damage can migrate to the top, which will then cause leaks. Underlayment can also damaged causing loss of R-value and integrity of the system itself.
